The converted 19th century old mill, just 2 minutes from I90, is situated on the shores of the picturesque Hudson River shoreline with grand views of Albany,s beautiful downtown skyline.

The 19th century building located in Rensselaer, NY, and once owned by the Barnet family, was a shodding mill for the reclamation of woolen products. Today the beautiful red brick, concrete and steel facility with seven glass atriums is being transformed into a one of a kind Art Center. All of the structure’s industrial concrete columns, capitals and ceiling pans that line the interior of the buildings are being cleaned and restored. The complex’s rich history is being maintained throughout this transformation as we continue to add more artists.

The future promises to be exciting. We are currently looking for artisans from all corners of the artistic community to join us in taking this historic facility into a future of revitalization and prosperity. We look forward to this new center of culture for the entire northeast region. We are able to provide workspace and galleries open to the public for artisans, teachers and retailers such as:
